At The Ten, the duplex suites with private pools are not shared with other guests. The pool outside your room is attached to your residence. Nobody else has a key, a wristband, or a booking that overlaps with yours at that pool. This is the distinction that gets lost in most resort marketing, where ‘access to a private pool’ often means a smaller version of the same shared amenity, just with fewer sunbeds. Siolim sits in neither extreme. The village escaped the mass coastal development that reshaped Calangute and Baga just 10 km south, so the streets around The Ten are still lined with coconut palms and old family compounds. At the same time, Anjuna Beach is roughly 7 km away, Morjim is a short drive in the other direction, and Assagao’s restaurant scene is practically on the doorstep. You are not trading convenience for calm. You are getting both.

The Ten is a resort, not a self-catering villa. That distinction matters more than it sounds. Every residence includes daily breakfast, daily housekeeping, and a concierge who can arrange transfers, activities, and dining without you having to chase anyone. If you want a private multi-course dinner served beside your pool, The Ten Table is the in-house dining experience that handles it. If you want to spend the evening on the rooftop infinity pool instead, that is included in your stay. The structure is there when you want it. When you do not, the estate is quiet and entirely yours.

The Ten comprises ten private residences across a single gated property, designed by Goan architect Rita Mody. Residences range from single-level one and two-bedroom suites to two-level duplex suites with private pools, and the estate can accommodate groups of up to 52 guests across 25 bedrooms. Five distinct pools serve the property. That ratio, combined with the boutique scale, means the estate never feels crowded. Families, couples, and groups each have a configuration that fits without compromise. For groups who want the entire estate, a full buyout is available, which is how weddings and milestone celebrations typically work here.

Rita Mody’s brief was to build something that belongs in Siolim, not something that could have been dropped in from a catalogue. The result reads as a private estate rather than a resort: laterite, natural light, and the kind of spatial generosity that comes from designing ten residences rather than a hundred rooms.
